Exntesion Shimeji can be installed with either computer software or a browser extension. Each character has its own special behavior. There are many shimeji characters to choose from. The pet, anime Shimejis interact with all the websites you are visiting. The calm shimejis simply walk around the screen, and may perform character-specific actions. For a little extra fun, you can also let Shimeji steal Web page elements. There are currently two versions of the program, Calm and Mischievous. The download comes with Shimeji-ee, an unoffical English translation of the original (Japanese) program. It is an open source program, so many individual fans have modified the code to create character-specific shimejis for their fandoms. Comes with Shimeji-ee (Mischievous ver + Original Shimeji & Kuro Shimeji) + Hirasawa Shimejiģ. It can interact with your internet browser as well it may start climbing the sides of the window or even dangle from the bottom of it (the browser window can't be full screen btw) or if it's feeling particularly mischievous, the shimeji may grab the window and kick it off screen! The shimejis also like to duplicate themselves and you may find your desktop covered with the little bastards. When you open Shimeji for the first time, the app will only show + buttons. It walks around, climbs on stuff, and is generally there to be friggin' cute. Add these fun animated characters to your screen. Left click the tray icon to create another Shimeji. Right click the tray icon or the individual Shimeji for options. Click the Shimeji icon on the home screen to start playing.
Complete Google sign-in (if you skipped step 2) to install Shimeji. Click to install Shimeji from the search results. Look for Shimeji in the search bar at the top right corner. Complete Google sign-in to access the Play Store, or do it later.
